Welcome to Ting Wu Lab at Chinese Institute for Brain Research (CIBR), Beijing! Our lab is focused on exploiting the advances in nanotechnology to build the interface between nanoelectronics and biological systems. We develop sensing and sampling techniques for combined measurements of neural spikes and release of neuromodulators from neuron ensemble in awake and behaving animals, especially for primates (monkey and human) where alternative techniques cannot be easily deployed. We are also interested in investigating the biocompatibility and biostability of long-term implants in brain-computer interface applications.
